Blog Summary Carousel / Move Thumbnail to the Left of Content + Auto Scroll

I’m trying to have a blog summary carousel display the thumbnail image to the left of the title/description/etc. with 1 item per page, and I would like it to scroll automatically. So far, nothing that I’ve tried has worked. Would LOVE a solution.

(I know I can accomplish this type of layout with the list layout, but I want this to pull content from a blog so that I can feature relevant posts based on filters).
